2014 Coastal Maine Photography Workshop Slideshow

Sunset over the small harbor at Squirrel Island in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.Photography Tip: If you are going to shoot directly into the sun then try closing your lens down to its smallest aperture. Shooting directly into the rising or setting sun with your smallest aperture will create a starburst flare pattern. To make this effect more noticeable try to hide the majority of the sun behind a solid object. Hiding part of the sun minimizes the pure white hole that it creates in your photo and it makes the starburst pattern more pronounced.Learn more about my digital photography workshops and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom seminars at http://www.davidmarx.com
