February is a magical month in Yellowstone National Park. A snowy blanket gives the world’s first National Park a special feeling of solitude. This time of year, the steam around Old Faithful and the Park’s other geothermal features ascends slowly skyward while frost-covered bison meander through a world of mist and fog. Our small-group winter photography adventure begins and ends in Bozeman, Montana. Unlike other photography workshops, we will take care of all of your travel needs for this trip so that you can focus on photographing this truly incredible place. Click HERE for more information.
Watching the Aurora Borealis swirl across the night sky is an amazing experience. Capturing great photographs of the Northern Lights and the stars from the edge of the Arctic is an unforgettable adventure. This magical phenomena has inspired feelings of awe and wonder for centuries. This photography workshop is different. On this program, I get to focus on teaching night photography techniques for an entire week. There will be lectures and demonstrations on shooting starry sky images, night-image processing techniques using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, and on the basics of time-lapse photography throughout this workshop.
