Smartphone Image Editing Lecture @B&H Photo Video @ B&H Event Space | New York | New York | United States

Our smartphones and tablets are amazing tools for photography. In this lively presentation, I will demonstrate two of my favorite non-destructive mobile image processing Apps.

First, I will talk about Snapseed from Google. Snapseed is a powerful image enhancer and it is free on both Android and iOS devices.

With Snapseed, you can accomplish all sorts of the basic improvements like white balance correction, black and white conversion, and perspective repair. Beneath the surface though there is so much more to this amazing App. Snapseed also includes powerful yet simple tools for masking, portrait retouching, and double exposure simulation.

Unlike Snapseed which is a standalone App, the Adobe Lightroom Mobile App represents the next frontier in photo editing everywhere. With Lightroom Mobile, you can pass images back and forth from your desktop computer over to your phone or tablet. Edits made on one device are automatically synchronized with all of your other toys with Lightroom Mobile.

If you are curious about where smartphone image editing is headed then this is the program to watch either in person at the B&H Event Space in the heart of New York City or for free online.
