Join me for a unique photography workshop this September at the historic Spruce Point Inn in beautiful Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The coast of Maine is a photographer’s paradise. It is a place that always inspires me and where the photographic possibilities seem endless. This short workshop is a terrific opportunity for participants to learn new landscape photography techniques from an experienced instructor while enjoying the hospitality and cuisine of Maine’s finest resort.
During this workshop, we will float from island to island in our own private motorboat while photographing beautiful harbors, remote lighthouses, and working lobster boats. We will discuss contemporary digital photography techniques in our classroom and then head out to practice our new skills along the gorgeous coastline that surrounds Boothbay Harbor. We will stay out by the water photographing until sunset and then dine together most evenings. During our field shoots, I will always be available to offer suggestions, answer questions, and to talk you through tricky situations. You won’t believe how much you can learn and how much your photography can improve in just a few days.
This photography workshop is appropriate for photographers of all skill levels. We ask that you bring full camera batteries, plenty of empty memory cards, a good tripod, and a keen interest in photographing life along this special part of the Atlantic Ocean. This is a great chance to learn, shoot, and enjoy the stunning beauty that is the coast of Maine.
Please call Cindy Poe, Reservations Manager at the Spruce Point Inn, at 1-800-553-0289 to reserve your space in this small group photography seminar. Workshop fee includes five nights lodging, meals, instruction, taxes and gratuities. Additional days and activities may be added at exclusive rates.
